Today’s rowing session was the first in over two weeks of abstinence from rowing. It was only 30 minutes long and it began about 10 minutes before the start of a baseball game. So I watched the first 20 minutes of the baseball game during today’s session.

Today was another in a string of days without rowing but in less than a week I should be able to resume indoor rowing.
Today’s aerobic activity was a 3+ mile run at low altitude and moderate temperature of around 70-72 degrees F.

There will be no rowing or running by me today. Enjoying the extreme relative strangeness of a cool, cloudy day instead of a 100 degree plus brilliant, sunshiny day.
*Correction: the rain stopped and things dried out enough in time for a short run:

Today there will be no rowing done by this particular rower, since I cannot clone myself like Doug Kinney did in the science-fiction comedy movie, “Multiplicity”.

Somebody needs to invent and manufacture a vehicle that a person can drive while using a Concept2 rowing machine.

Today’s aerobics was a 9,500 meter rowing session followed by a haircut and shower.

There was no rowing or running or any other aerobic exercise done yesterday.
Before any rowing or running could be done today, I had to make a trip to a tire store and wait there, sipping coffee, chatting and reading for an hour.
After returning home from that errand I rowed 9,500 meters while watching a few short youtube videos and then went running for about 2 miles.

The running was done on a horse trail. The photo below shows one of the road signs calling attention to the potential presence of horses.

Yesterday Diane saw a bobcat stalking a rabbit when she went out to get the mail. It was the first time she had seen one outside of a zoo and she was impressed at its size. It totally ignored her and kept its focus on the rabbit which it was keeping on the move.
Today after rowing I went for a short run and watched for bobcats but saw none.
The rowing session today was 10K followed by a run of a little over 20 minutes.

There were other high priority things to do today which crowded out the usual rowing and running. I internally debated taking the day off from doing any rowing or running and the debate was won in favor of doing some rowing and skipping the rowing for today.
So the rowing done after the debate was 9,500 meters while watching a few innings of a baseball game between the Mets and the Cubs.
